All orders are lovingly packed and shipped from Southland, New Zealand.
Shipping
New Zealand
- Standard shipping: $7 NZD flat rate
- Free shipping on all NZ orders over $70
- Estimated delivery: 2–5 business days
Australia
- Shipping rates calculated at checkout
- Estimated delivery: 5–10 business days
Rest of World
- Shipping rates calculated at checkout
- Estimated delivery: 7–14 business days
- Please note: international orders may be subject to customs duties or import taxes in your country. These are the responsibility of the recipient.
Processing & Dispatch
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding NZ public holidays). During busy periods, processing may take an extra day or two.
Once dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking information so you can follow your parcel.
Shipping Delays
While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, shipping times are estimates and may be affected by:
- Public holidays
- Remote or rural delivery locations
- Customs processing (international orders)
- Courier delays beyond our control
Incorrect Address
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If you realise there is an error, contact us as soon as possible at hello@bloodybasic.com and we will do our best to help.
Returns
We want you to love your Bloody Basic products. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return your order within 30 days of receiving it.
Return Conditions
As we sell skincare products, we can only accept returns of unused and unopened items in their original packaging. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of products that have been opened or used.
How to Return
- Email us at hello@bloodybasic.com with your order number and reason for return
- We will confirm your return and provide instructions
- Post the item(s) back to us using a tracked shipping service
Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping is at the customer’s expense. We recommend using a tracked service to ensure your return arrives safely. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank to process the refund.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@bloodybasic.com with:
- Your order number
- A photo of the damaged or incorrect item
We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no extra cost to you.
Consumer Guarantees Act
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If a product is faulty, not as described, or not fit for its intended purpose, you are entitled to a remedy.
